VNTH TẾT KIDS CELEBRATION 2025: BẾP LỬA – TẾT VIỆT XƯA NURTURING FAMILY TRADITIONS & GRATITUDE

Vietnamese Lunar New Year, Tết, is a sacred time for families to reunite, for children to express respect and gratitude to their grandparents and parents, and for preserving the cherished values of our culture. Blending tradition with modern touches, Viet Nam Tinh Hoa Primary School is proud to host Bếp Lửa – Tết Việt Xưa, creating a meaningful space for students and their families to immerse in the nostalgic atmosphere of Tết through creative and unique activities.

Event Highlights:

🧧 Recreating the warmth of “Bếp Lửa” (The Kitchen Fire): A nostalgic space for Tết storytelling, bánh chưng cooking, and experiencing family bonding with lively lion dance performances.

🎨 Traditional Art Workshops: Crafting tò he, weaving coconut leaves, learning calligraphy, and seeking blessings from a scholar.

🎉 Traditional and Modern Games: Ring toss, hopscotch, and Vietnamese board games.

🎶 Spring Performances: Unique student showcases blending traditional and modern cultural elements.

🍴 Ao Dai Parade and Food Corner: Featuring a parade of traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai and enjoying bánh chưng made with care by our students.

If parents would like to invite additional friends or family members (up to 2 guests), please register via our fan page before Wednesday, January 22, 2025. As the number of attendees is limited, tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
